[Solved] Spellcheck add options

Post by dama »

I was creating a new resume on Writer (OpenOffice.org 2.3), glace is not an approved word. :) I ran spellcheck to add glace to my personal dictionary and was given three choices; 1) soffice, 2) sun 3) standard. I have not been able to find out what my choices, once made would do.

In general, with every option or choice offered would you all explain what is involved?

I know what I am asking for is a lot and that it will take time but I have patience and will continue to bring attention to anything I think is not as it should be; that's my job. :)

"Use the standard entry, it's the user custom dictionary (located in the user profile). Sun and soffice entries are located in the installation folder (will be delete at next upgrade) and only contains strings specific to sun and OOo/StarOffice (like macro commands, ...)."

You've posted in the wrong section (Writer tutorials), I move it to the Writer forum.

Use the standard entry, it's the user custom dictionary (located in the user profile). Sun and soffice entries are located in the installation folder (will be delete at next upgrade) and only contains strings specific to sun and OOo/StarOffice (like macro commands, ...).

Thanks to add '[Solved]' in your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.
