Sir,
I have been successfully using open office org ver 1.1 for more than a year. Only since last 1month the spellcheck option is not functioning on my computer. It doesn't check anything and every time it says spellcheck complete without doing anything.
Secondly when I tried to save a file in .odt mode, it presents a box asking for password, but the save option is diisabled. this is also happening only since last 15 days.
Pl tell me how I can get over it.

Version 1.1 is really outdated now. Here is a tutorial made for 2.#, it should almost apply on 1.1 I guess: [Tutorial] Spell check and Language configuration.
What about upgrading to 3.0? The RC1 (Release Candidate, i.e. almost final version, not a beta anymore) has just been released: OpenOffice 3.0 schedule?

LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 24.8 portable on Windows 11.
