I've written a "How To" document that has pictures in it for assistance in the steps. When printing the document the pages that have pictures and text on them will only print the picture, no text. I've found this problem in both Calc (created a form) and Writer. I have tried saving it a both .odt and .doc with the same results. The only way I found to print both the text and the pictures was to convert it to PDF first.
I'm still new to OOo and am hoping that there is a way to print it with out coverting to PDF first. So far I have had no luck in searching for the information.
Has anyone else run into this problem and discovered the solution?
Thank you.

Re: Problems Printing a document with pictures in it
It sometimes happens. Try to change the anchoring of the pictures. IMHO, best one is As character.

Check the print settings for Writer. There are check boxes for numerous items, including "Drawings."
