Duplicating sheets in Calc

Post by Readerwoman »

I have a budget template (from Open Office) and have created a budget sheet for May. I want to be able to duplicate this sheet for a second sheet (for June) third sheet (for July) etc. using the same template and information. I can't figure out how to do that.
Color me confused! :ucrazy:

(An unsolicited advice:)
The "sheet-per-month-design" is suspected to cause problems again and again, in specific if
-1- there also shall be one day a summary sheet or sheets for specific evaluations spanning different months.
-2- enhancements will be one day you want to also apply to past months (probably related to -1-).

Examples

Concerning -2-
You want to consolidate your budget (projection) with your factual cash flow (accounting information).

Concerning -1-
You want to get the factual expense for fuel from 2018-03-16 till 2018-09-15 and to compare it with budget projection.

Concerning -2- again
You want to insert an additional column to allow for refinements.
You want to move the accent of your stratification from "monthly" to either "weekly" or "quarterly".

You may want to reconsider the design decision.
On Windows 10: LibreOffice 25.8.4 and older versions, PortableOpenOffice 4.1.7 and older, StarOffice 5.2
