[Solved] Forum search from main page
[Solved] Forum search from main page
Has anyone used the search function on the main forum page (https://forum.openoffice.org/) lately? I get an error of "Unauthorized access to internal API".

Likewise the EN forum search worked for me just now.

Re: forum search from main page
I agree that the search from the first page of the EN forum works. There is a search based on Google on the main forum page, the one I linked above, that isn't working for me. I think Hagar put it there. If I remember correctly, it doesn't have the limitation of only searching for words with four or more letters that is in place on the internal forum search.

Oh, sorry - I ass-u-me d wrongly
Seems the custom search uses unexpected calls to Google's API - hopefully whoever has suitable access to the source for that page can update it.

Re: Forum search from main page
For the record I had raised the issue on the mailing list. Will bump it after the change of server is done (should have been done some time ago)...

Re: Forum search from main page
This now works. It is not "pretty", but works. IIRC the page was using an outdated Google API.
