Hi,
I installed open office 2.4
I use windows xp
I am a very simple computer user.
My question:
Is it possible to convert a pdf document into a document modifiable with open office?
I searched the forum and saw no answer.
I searched the web (google) and found nothing I could understand.

I am extremely curious about this point.
Thanks for any easy understandable answers.

Because of the nature of PDF files, it's very difficult to decompile one into an editable format. Don't expect perfect results, in other words, and expect to deal with lots of textboxes... usually one per line of text.

A number of free file converters exist online. I'm very surprised your searches didn't find anything, because yours is an extremely common question, both on this forum and in other forums, newsgroups, chatrooms, PDF support sites, etc. One popular file conversion site is http://www.zamzar.com/ . It does about as well as anything.
Cheers!
