Using .mp4 video in Impress

Using .mp4 video in Impress

It seems that Open Office Impress will not accept (support) an mp4 video file. What do I need to do to be able to use a 2 minute mp4 file?

A workaround: put in a hyperlink to the mp4 file and the system video player will handle it.
