Is there support for Office 2007 file format support?

Hi there.

I have an urge to switch to open-source after I had switched my Windows 2000 computer to a Vista one.
I wanted a virus-free computer and so on- and so forth.

I had a Office 2000 software than runs well with Windows 2000... and it cant run Vista.
I am currently cash-strapped and I would wish to change it to open source because I think that open source pretty fits me well.

I need an openoffice that supports .DOCX, .XLSX, .PPTX, AND .DBLX.
I would like to incorporate Office 2007 into OOo. (my current version is 2.4.0)

If there is any developers which can help out to writing this script, i would wish to thank him/her in advance!

OOo 3.0 (due next month) will include support for some of the Office 2007 XML formats.

You can test it now if you download the current beta release of OOo 3.

There are other methods you can use now even with OpenOffice.org 2.4 such as odf-converter-integrator. See also the previous discussion.

I will surely support the OOo 3.0 when it was stable.

But for now, I would want every of my open office programs to be stable.
