I have a Mac running Leopard and just installed Open Office for the specific purpose of opening documents created on MS Publisher. Which filter should I use? Please Help!

Opening MS Publisher
Re: Opening MS Publisher
There's no filter available in OOo for MS Publisher files. There are requests for a DTP application in the suite, and every request I recall seeing did mention the requirement to support .pub files. Currently there's no solution I know of, short of installing MS Publisher. For you that would mean installing MS Windows, too, I guess.
Microsoft provides viewers for some of the MS Office file formats, but the last time I checked, .pub wasn't one of them, and in any case, the viewers provided are for Windows only.

Re: Opening MS Publisher
OOo not has application similar to Publisher, see: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/ ... ?f=7&t=446, and http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/ ... f=11&t=452.
You can not open them in OOo.
Before post next time try to search in forums.
