Deleting a file off a Android tablet

I downloaded the Apache Open Office onto my android tablet that uses os Marshmallow. There isn't any way that I can find as to how to delete a file once it is created. Can anybody help me with this?

If your tablet is like my phone, there is an application called My Files that allows you to manage files.

Deleting files is not a function of OpenOffice, but rather something handled by the operating system.
