Macro/reghack 2 save default doc format

Post by CyyberSpaceCowboy »

I'm installing Open Office in a school lab in lieu of M$ Office. I need to set the default Save Document format to Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) . Yes, I know how to do this from the Options menu, but I don't want to have to open every copy of OO for every user on every workstation. Do these settings live in the registry where I could export them to a .REG , is there a config file I can cut and paste, or perhaps someone has written a script I can run from the command line? Thanks
OOo 2.4.X on MS Windows Vista + All Windows, Linux, Mac works?

I'll move this thread to forum "Setup and Troubleshooting" since it has nothing to do with Writer. On top of that forum you find a link to the admin guide.
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.
