Vista again - not really new

Post by rlk6798 »

What are the steps to open the openoffice on a Vista computer? Like a prevous note, I have used the setup at least 3 times, but cannot find a way to open the program. Linda

Once OpenOffice is installed, you should find an entry in the "Start" menu down in the lower left corner of your screen. You may have to work your way through two levels of menus--I'm not sure how it's organized on Vista. On XP it's Start > All Programs > OpenOffice.org > OpenOffice.org Writer ...

If you don't see something like that, the installation may have failed somehow.
