Cannot save new documents

Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.

Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? 2.4
What Operating System (version) are you using? Windows xp
What is your question or comment? The save process has stopped working - when I click on Save As, the usual window does not appear. I have tried Save, Save As, Save All - nothing works.

Else, you can try to reset the OpenOffice.org user profile.
