{Solved} As a new user, can I download only Calc and Writer components?

Please ignore previous query. As a new user fumbling his way thru Community Forum for first time, I posted a question already answered. I now understand that entire program must be downloaded but selected components can be installed.

Nope selected components -- in the sense of writer and calc -- cannot be installed separately. The OOo is an integrated suite.
Ubuntu 11.04-x64 + LibreOffice 3 and MS free except the boss's Notebook which runs XP + OOo 3.3.

If you run the custom install, you can install only parts of the suite but you won't gain much HD space because the applications (Calc, Writer, Base, ...) are each less than 10 MB. The main part of the suite is made of common files.
LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 24.8 portable on Windows 11.
