Color bar positioning

Post by jza »

I would love to see some of the toolbars gain better costumizability by dragging to other regions. A specific example is the color bar palette (View -> Toolbars -> Colors) and be able to have it on the lower bar of Draw and on the panel as well. This makes the interface more usable.

Is there different kind of toolbars that just made them as compatible with the workspace?

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for: the color bar can be detached as a floating palette or docked to other sides of the OO Draw window.

Do you mean to drag the color bar into the sidebar, specifically? That could definitely be useful.

Yes, I tried to attach the color palette to other areas of the interface without sucess. for example Draw has the Properties panel on one side, and Pages panel on the other and the colors palette are limited to the active area as opposed to a regular toolbar that goes across the whole window area.
