Receiving Error loading BASIC of document messages

I am running Open Office 2.4.1.

I have the QuickStart icon in my system tray. Using the QuickStart to bring up any of the Open Office applications (Text document, SpreadSheet, etc...) the first time I am receiving 2 errors.

#1 - Error
Error loading BASIC of document
file:///C:/Users/Roger/AppData/Roaming/OpenOffice.org2/user/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/EEED.tmp_/WriterTools.oxt/WriterTools/script.xlb:
General Error.
General input/output error.

OK

#2 - Error
Error loading BASIC of document
file:///C:/Users/Roger/AppData/Roaming/OpenOffice.org2/user/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/EEED.tmp_/WriterTools.oxt/WriterTools/dialog.xlb:
General Error.
General input/output error.

OK

After I take OK to both errors everything seems to work fine.

Any ideas as to what is causing this error?

Have you read the Forum Survival Guide?
What OS and OOo version are you using?

We encourage everyone to try a search before posting. Entering "basic error document" in the search box (upper right) located several relevant threads, including this recent one: Error loading BASIC of document file

That thread is a bit of a mess, but read it through: you should find several things you can try. Unfortunately, the error is somewhat generic and there seems to be no definitive cure.
