[Solved] Format issue with Report Total

Post by Dempewolff »

Probably an easy fix to this one, but i'm :knock:

I have a report using the report builder with grouping and group total and report total. Everything works as expected except the report total forces a new page before it prints.

report footer properties:
force new page=None.

The accumulator field properties:
visable=yes
print repeated values=no
print when group changes=yes

I would like it to print after the last group total (if there is room). I have attached a screen shot with the report footer selected and properties showing:
Hours Report.png
Any ideas or help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks, Peter

I have the DB attached.

Had to delete a few items to get to < 128KB; this one is operational for this purpose.

The report "Daily Log by Catagory with Hours GT test" uses the Query "Daily Log by Catagory with Hours" with a date criteria of February and a calculated field.

Other than this, there are other issues that need to be addressed in another thread; briefly: a lot of crashes with report builder and corrupted forms.

Thanks, Peter

Hi,
maybe by introducing a column "One", for all records the same, and grouping by "One"?

Thanks!
Well that worked. Now, I have to figure out why. Good excercise for me to ponder on.
Thanks again for your efforts,
Peter
