File read only when copied on Android tablet

When I copy an ODS from my Win7 based OS to my Android tablet it becomes a read only copy... I would prefer to be able to open and work on the tablet as well. Is it on the Win7 side i need to change something, if so what?

You question has nothing to do with OpenOffice, it’s about using your device. I have no problem with copying files to/from my Android tablet (and editing them) when using both Windows 7 and openSUSE Linux. Thus, refer to your tablet user manual for correct procedure of connection to a PC.
