Hi, I am new to this forum.
I created a document with a variety of graphics in it. I then saved it in RTF format and Open Office said nothing about this being a problem for it, and yet all of the graphics were lost the next time I opened it. I have worked with graphics in RTF before using MS Word. And Open Office does not warn you that it is a problem, so how does one save graphics in RTF using OO?
Gratefully.
Graphics in RTF - how to?
Re: Graphics in RTF - how to?
If you changed the default format from ODT to RTF, then the warnings are not displayed when saving in RTF format. I wouldn't use RTF format for documents with graphics. See these issues:
RTF from 3rd party: embedded graphics not displayed (displays text instead of image)
RTF: very oftengraphics are lost on export
Image lost saving rtf with bmp
rtf importer does not import png image
