[Solved] How to apply calculation to a range of cells

Post by xerxesoo »

I'm sure this must be really simple but I can't find how to do it in the Help pages.

If for example I put values in cells A1 and B1, and then put =A1/B1 in cell C1, I get the required calculation result in C1. But how do I apply this to all columns? i.e. so C2 =A2/B2, C3 = A3/B3, etc.

Enter the first formula and pull the little black square in the RH corner down as far as you need.
