Locked titles

I am converting from Word Perfects office suite's spreadsheet. That spread sheet allowed one to lock titles. This allowed one to enter many lines but the title line(s) would always be on top of the screen. One could scroll up or down the screen but the titles would always be visible! If I convert said screen to Microsoft format and then to Open Office that capability remains. However, if I create a spreadsheet directly in Open Office I have no Idea as to how to get locked titles! It must be possible if said function converts but I don't even know where to look in any hep section!

Click on cell A2 then select the menu Window -> Freeze

Hello everyone. This is my first post in the forums.

I would like to ask: Is there a way to get the same effect on the printed document? So if my document exceeds 1 page at the beginning of the next page I'll still get the titles printed.

P.S. I didn't want to create a new thread since this one is really close to my problem anyway. And also sorry for the beginner level of the question.

It would be nice if it didn't require an extra step but you have to configure repeated rows/columns for printing by setting up a print range: Format > Print Ranges > Define ...

Under the Print Ranges > Edit menu there's an option to include repeated rows.
