FolderPicker & Java on Windows - bug?

Post by kavenchuk »

FolderPicker on Windows not use DisplayDirectory - any time begin with "My computer" - not with directory where set in setDisplayDirectory() (but getDisplayDirectory() is return my directory).

Short example: SDK examples/DevelopersGuide/GUI/SystemDialog.java

(I wrote this post to http://www.oooforum.org/ - http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?t=69050 - unanswered)

As Bernard said on OOoF, this is planned for fixing in OOo 3.0 (Issue 64800). If you want to track the status, you can register with CollabNet yourself and track the issue.
Ubuntu 11.04-x64 + LibreOffice 3 and MS free except the boss's Notebook which runs XP + OOo 3.3.

setDisplayDirectory works for me with system directories rather than file-URLs.
XPicker.setDisplayDirectory("/home/user/Documents/OOo/test/")
