I got the new Version Open Office 2.4.0
Now my forms are all shown in minimum size. That small size i can't read the Letters.
How can I return my forms to the original size?

Re: forms are all shown in small sized letters
Are you referring to size on the screen, or on paper?
On screen: have you changed the zoom? It allows you to zoom in closer (everything gets larger), or zoom out (smaller).
Look at View > Zoom
On paper? How are you printing (what steps do you use)?

Thank you for ur reply.
Now found it:
View / Zoom is disabled in Open office 2.3 and 2.4.
The only way to change the zoom is: use ctrl-key + mouse weel. Then the size changes.

Good detective work!
It is strange that View > Zoom is not available though. You may have a problem with your settings profile, or possibly a broken install.
Try this: at the bottom of the Writer window, the current zoom setting is displayed (e.g. "100%"). right click on that number; you should get a pop-up menu where you can pick a different zoom setting.
If that doesn't work either, and the View > Zoom menu continues to misbehave, I would suggest taking some steps to fix whatever the problem is. These little glitches can turn serious at the worst possible time.

Re: forms are all shown in small sized letters
I have suddenly the same problem. From one day to the other, I can't change the view -> zoom in forms any more (the field is grey, i.e. disabled). There is no zoom value displayed in the status line on the bottom. Changing size using CTRL+Mouse works though.
Same problem on WinXP and Linux (Ubuntu+gdm). I think OO on Ubuntu had an update recently, could this have destroyed the zoom functionality?
Any ideas for fixing / debugging?

You see the same problem on Windows and Linux? How strange. Is there any circumstance that might connect them? I can't imagine what might make both fail at the same time.
Have you tried a reset of your profile?

No, I haven't reset my profile yet, because I'd like to keep my settings. What would be the best way to do this?
And what controls the properties of the menu such as enabling / disabling entries? I guess that would bring me closer to the bug.

Addition: I deleted my profile and created a fresh one, but the problem is still persistent. On Windows and Linux, on two different computers.

Sorry, I'm stumped.
You could try a fresh install, or try running as a different user login, or with all security services disabled (have to be careful there, obviously), just to see if any of those make a difference.
