Writer Vertical-Text

Post by frederi »

How do I produce VERTICAL-Text , with all of the letters stacked one-above each-other, in billboard fashion , from Horizontal Text?
The "Asian Language Support" only allows me to flip / rotate the entire word from the horizontal to the vetical, and then , the letters remain side-by-side, and not stacked one above each other, as expected for an asian language, from top to bottom.
Notes: I am using Open-Office.org(Base, Calc, Draw, Impress, Math, and Writer)
My computer operating system is Windows XP with lots of available memory.

Thank you
Mike

There's no setting for it. Just set the margins narrow enough to force "line breaks" between every letter, or do it manually by typing line breaks (Shift+Enter).
