Double Spaced lines

Post by rhitai »

Hello!

I am a new user to open office and using it for my college papers. I cannot figure out how to double space and apply the APA 6th edition style guide, if I can apply the style guide. Thank you for any help that I can get I appreciate it.

Welcome to the community forum!

There are a few APA templates around--try a search here or Google it.

Using a template is definitely the way to go as it's not entirely trivial to get all the formatting and layout that APA requires.

It can be a lot of fun creating an APA 6th template but it takes a lot of time and a surprising level of knowledge of both AOO and APA formating. Attached is a pretty good template if you need it in a hurry. I have never used it to submitt a paper to APA so it may only be 95% complient with 'true' APA but should be fine for a university paper.

Note: if you combine this with the Zotero bibliographic system Zotero you will have a fast way of writing psych papers. And the citations and references are correct

Also it is a good idea to buy the APA 6th Ed manual.
