OOo 3.0 Beta and auto-update
If you're running the public beta of OOo 3.0, will the automatic update feature recognize when new beta builds (and/or the 3.0 production release) come out, or will you have to update manually until the full production version is released?
Re: OOo 3.0 Beta and auto-update
I'm almost positive that it has already checked and notified me of a new beta build at some point, but it's been a while since a new build was released so I could be mis-remembering.
AOO4/LO5 • Linux • Fedora 23

The OOo 3.0 update feature is just a notification. Maybe it will download the new version for you, but you still have to re-install the full beast.
In other words, OOo's update feature is not as nice as the one in Firefox 2.0.
