I've written an ebook with a cover page. I want to number all pages except cover page.
I inserted a footer for copyright notice and page numbers. How do I keep the footer
off the cover page?

Re: Page numbering cover page
Go to the cover page and hit insert->manual break. In the dialog box select page break, then the style you want the next page to be in, then check page number. The numbering will then reset to 1 on the next page. To keep the footer off the cover page you have to make sure that the cover page is a different style from the other pages, "first page" for example, then in insert->footer simply make sure that that style is not checked. To acces the styles pane hit F11.
hope this helps.
EDIT: also, check this guide out for more information on page numbering. It seems a bit complicated at first, but it's quite a powerful feature.
