I know this has been covered a TRILLION times before in this forum, but I can't get any of the methods to work. Some solutions are from 2005 or 2008, from much older versions of OO I am using. <Apache OO 3.4.1 on Windows 7 Home>
I am trying to keep the Endnotes from being the last section of the document. I need to move them earlier in the book's endmatter.
My Format>Sections menu option is grayed out no matter where I click, so that won't work...
...I have tried to find an Endnotes tab on the page formatting boxes, to no avail...
...Hagar posted this solution in 2008: Put your text in a section, then configure the endnotes (in the section properties, last tab) to be placed at the end of the section...and I can't find that section properties tab, either.
What am I doing wrong? I am sure this is so simple to fix!
Thanks in advance,
R.K.

Re: Moving Endnotes Elsewhere - AGAIN :(
Format>Sections, then button Options and last tab of the dialog:
Please add '[Solved]' at the beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.
LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 25.2 portable on Windows 11.
Re: Moving Endnotes Elsewhere - AGAIN :(
I cant do that, because as I mentioned in the original post, the "Sections" menu option is grayed out (see screen shot attached) no matter where I click in the document.

Re: Moving Endnotes Elsewhere - AGAIN :(
Of course, if you don't insert a section first, it will be hard to show that menu...

Re: Moving Endnotes Elsewhere - AGAIN :(
Ha, no Hagar, that was just a blank document I made to show the screenshot.
I have at least 10 sections in the 80 page document I'm referring to. It doesn't matter if I click on the end notes or the body text, on the Default page style or the End Note page style, the "Section" menu option doesn't stop graying out.

Can you upload a sample file?

[SOLVED] Re: Moving Endnotes Elsewhere - AGAIN :(
Nevermind Hagar, I figured out the problem. I was mistaking styles for sections. Now that I inserted 3 sections, moved the text within them, and then followed your screenshot, it works.
Sorry for the runaround! I am grateful to you for the prod to help me to figure it out for myself! This endnote problem has plagued me ever since I started using OO!
