How to insert a chart on Writer with values from Calc

Hi

I need to make a Writer document with a lot of charts; charts use values that are on a Calc document; I need that Writer document update when values on Calc change.

I tried to copy a chart on Calc and Paste it on Writer; seems OK but graph doesn't update when Calc values change.
I tried to insert a new graph on Writer and connect the values table with Calc; not possible,
I tried to insert graph as a OLE object; I can only choose file to embeed; I can't choose charts one by one and results are not so good.

Any help will be very appreciated.

Same problem here!

The best option for me would be to use
Insert>Object>OLE Object>Calc spreadsheet, Link, and then for it to allow to specify the cell range visible. Documentation only says: "A section of the inserted file is shown in the document". Interestingly this section (cell range) does change sometimes I've observed, but I haven't been able to figure out what controls it.

Does anyone know? Thanks!
