Hello there, I have been a loyal user of Open Office and its predecessors for several years. Now I have a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet. It is lighter and slimmer than my laptop or net book. The android office suites by Kingsoft office and Polaris Office, are lacking in the "good feel" in using Open Office.
Hope to see an Android version soon. I am an English teacher at the University level and I promote Open office whenever I can to my students in Vietnam. They use MS Office because they can get it free for now because of lax copyright enforcement in VN. But as VN develops and moves into the European Union, the software police will be enforcing use of legal software. So Open Office will be replacing the $140.00 or so cost for Microsoft Office. My university students are very computer literate and have iphones, or ipads, or Android tablets, or phones. Hope for news soon for an Android version of Open Office.
