[Solved] Open office Japanese

Post by Diane »

Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? OpenOffice.org 2.0
What Operating System (version) are you using? (i have no clue what this means)....C:\Windows\system32 .. Windows XP Service pack 2 ??
What is your question or comment?
Is there an open office -japanese version that I can download, where I can write in Japanese (hiragana, katakana and kanji)? And would I need to buy a special keyboard to use type in Japanese?

Download Japanese version from:

http://ja.openoffice.org/download/2.4.0/

To input Japanese on a Windows computer see:

You shouldn't need a special keyboard.
LibreOffice 7.x.x on Arch and Fedora.
