Problem happened twice; after reopening .odp files, on the last page I worked on before saving
al text boxes show corrupt text. Is there any advice how to overcome this?
Maybe there`s a bug in 2.4.0? I never experienced this problem before.

The style for your text boxes has been set to use a line spacing of "50%", causing the text lines to overlap.
Select a text box, right-click and choose "Edit Style" > Indents and Spacing > Line Spacing = single.
