[Solved] Line spacing missing from menu
[Solved] Line spacing missing from menu
Hi running 3.2.1 and the line spacing icon is missing from the menu bar. Where do you find it? I have gone to the help menu and this says open the context menu and choose line spacing. Where is the context menu? Is this the same menu that has left/centre/right/justified because as I remember it, the line spacing icon used to be next to these align icons. Certainly not there now. Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Tools>Customize>Toolbars and select the Formatting one. NB: why not upgrade to latest 3.4.1?

Re: Line spacing missing from menu
Thanks so much .. I also found out by accident that if I highlight the text and right click, I can choose line spacing. Thanks also for the advice to upgrade.

Re: Line spacing missing from menu
It is much safer and better AOO practice to set the line spacing with a Style. It allows easier editing later if you need to make global changes plus reports here suggest that formatting using Styles is more robust if you ever need to export to MS Word.wotnow wrote:Thanks so much ..
