New user - I wish to know which folder is the default location for Open Ofc. I had an error and found all the loose files in Documents. I must manually remove them somehow.
My new installation appears OK and this forum visit is the first connection.

The default file location is found in the Options. Go to Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > Paths In the list shown there you should see "My Documents" with a filesystem path. This is where your documents are saved by default. You can change this to anything you want.
If you want to delete the files in "Documents", just use a file manager (part of the operating system you are using) to find and delete any files you no longer need.
