im new to linux and have ubuntu gutsy installed, it has OO 2.3. when typing in writer i want the first letter to capitalise as i go along but it fails. i have looked at tools, auto corect, options and there i can see capitalisation for first word of each sentince. how do i get it to work?? also is there a way of formatting the font colour other that selecting the text and right clicking selecting, character, options etc??

Auto-correct is language specific. Check the language of the current text.
All formatting changes are best made in the paragraph style. Right-click, edit paragraph style, Font (for language), and Font Effects (for colour).

thats great however it seems yu have to do this every time yuo want to do some work!! is there any way of defaulting this issue? thanks
