SAVED DOCUMENTS ARE IBM LOTUS
SAVED DOCUMENTS ARE IBM LOTUS
WHEN I SAVE MY DOCUMENT ON OPEN OFFICE WRITER, IT IS SAVED ON IBM LOTUS, NOT OPEN OFFICE WRITER. WHY? HOW DO I SAVE MY DOCUMENTS ON OPEN OFFICE WRITER?

Please ead the Survival Guide to the Forum.
As far as I know, it is not possible to save a Writer document in IBM Lotus format.

Well, I'm guessing a little here from insufficient information, but... If you've installed the new IBM Lotus beta, it saves in the same file format as OpenOffice.org (Open Document Format). Lotus has probably set your computer to identify ODF files as Lotus files rather than OOo files. Afraid you haven't given us enough information for me to suggest a solution. The files will still load into OpenOffice.org, even if your computer's identifying them as Lotus files.

Right, even uninstalling Lotus Symphony, the file association is not cleared. That's a bug from that release. You've to do it manually.
