Hi, I have a problem with OpenOffice (v2.2) corrupting Microsoft Office (97) hyperlinks.
Example: Document created in Word and contains one hyperlink to Document2.HTM (created using Microsoft's relative Link feature) which resides in the same folder. If loaded in Word and saved as HTML it creates the code of <A HREF="Document2.htm"> and works Ok.
I then open the original Word document with OpenOfice and save it in Microsoft Office 97 format (without changing the Hyperlink). I then open it with Word and save it as HTML, it now creates the code <A HREF="http://Document2.htm/">
You will see it has inserted http:// an the link is no longer valid.
I need to pass documents to others using Microsoft Office on a regular basis, these documents often include hyperlinks and I cannot control their creation. Does anyone know how to stop the hyperlinks getting corrupted
2nd question, does OpenOffice have an equivalent to the Relative Link feature?

Re: Corrupted Hyperlinks
First : sadly, it's a known bug, you should subscribe and vote for it (up to 2 votes per issue) : Issue 43369 - WW8: Hyperlinks are corrupted (turn to http link) on import.
Second : yes, even if the link seems absolute, the link is relative in fact.
NB: I'll tag you thread as [Issue] so it can attract some attention from others. Moved it to Writer also.
