Table: Border problem after merging
Table: Border problem after merging
Moved a Writer file from Neo to Libre and noticed that where 2 rows had been merged in a table, the lower border was slightly lower than those columns that had not been merged. Reason/ solution?

Re: Table: Border problem after merging
Try to resize one of the borders. I've experienced this with borders and once you change them a bit they merge together.

Re: Table: Border problem after merging
I've tried this; didn't work. I've also deleted the offending rows, put in new ones and as soon as I merge 2 rows in 1 Column, the bottom border appears to be below that of other columns in both 'print layout' and 'page view'.

Can you upload a sample file (see How to attach a document here)?

Looks perfect for me on OOo 3.3 on Ubuntu 10.10, on both Print and Web layout and on Page Preview.

Re: Table: Border problem after merging
Split the cell (Hartmann's (Na Lactate) I guess) in 2 horizontally. Then select the 2 cells (vertically) on the right and with the paintbrush, apply the formatting to the left cells.

Re: Table: Border problem after merging
Thanks, but I want to be able to merge a cell. I recreated the table in a new file and merged 2 horizontal cells and got the same displacement downwards of the bottom border. I assume there's a bug in Libre.

Re: Table: Border problem after merging
Then can you show what is the table before and after? No crystal ball at hand to guess what you're doing exactly...

No difference that I can see with 3.2.1 & Win 7.

Re: Table: Border problem after merging
There's no problem in NeoOffice; the problem occurred in Libre 3.4.4. Perhaps it's an isolated bug?

Indeed, I see this too in LibO 3.4.5. File a bug report.
