Html To Pdf

Post by kasturi »

Hello,

If I open html file using staroffice and exported to pdf format it generates properly, but if i do the same with java code then it puts some special characters in that file.

Does any one know what setting I must do for the same.

Thanks,
kate

There seems to be thousands of HTML2PDF converters. I can print arbitrary web pages from any browser to a PDF printer.
Then there is this add-on for firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/a ... 79?src=api
HTML has almost nothing to do with OpenOffice.org, but since you ask: http://www.artofsolving.com/opensource/jodconverter
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.

If it helps, there are add-ons for Firefox, IE, Chrome and Safari that allow you to easily convert and save almost any webpage to a PDF file that you can open/save.

Has anyone found a proper solution as in a java API that converts HTML to PDF and does not charge you like PD4ML/itext?
