[Closed] Trying to open a "Pages" document in OpenOffice.org
I have a "Pages" document that I would like to open in Open Office. It asks me for a "filter", and I have tried several, but none of them work. There is none that mentions "Pages". Is it not possible to open it in Open Office, or will I need to purchase Pages from the Apple Store? I have an iMac OS X 10.7.2 and open office 3.3

What makes you think that OpenOffice.org can handle that file format?

If it is made by Apple it is granted to be incompatible with the rest of the world. This is mere intention.Gooshlem wrote:I was just asking.

Pages can export as PDF, doc, RTF, and txt. When I want to send a document to someone I export it as a PDF. I always do the same with documents created in OOo.

I was waiting for this reply!
So I lock the thread, no need to go in another hot discussion about Apple pros and cons.
