In the novel I am writing at the beginning of each chapter I have a header like:
Chapter number
(a small jpg file is inserted here)
Chapter name
In using LO Writer - I select all three items and choose Copy - then open the new document and select Paste.
However, the only thing being paste is the Chapter Number and Chapter Name. The inserted JPG is being omitted.
How can I copy all three items from one .odt document and copy them to another?

Re: copying JPG from other documents
Perhaps the pic is anchored to the page or a paragraph that is not in the selection.

Re: Copying JPG from other documents
You were correct that the jpg was anchored to the page.
Since then, I changed it so it would be anchored to the paragraph and now I have a new problem.
When I copy:
Chapter Number
JPG
Chapter name
When I do a Paste - it is copying the jpg - but it also moves it to above the chapter number.

Re: Copying JPG from other documents
It depends on ho you've put the chapter number and chapter name. Can you upload a sample file?

Re: Copying JPG from other documents
Since an exact copy of the problem could not be achieved by doing a copy and paste of the original document. I decided to create a new page.
However, in doing so - somehow - and I do not have the foggest idea how - I managed to resolved the problem.
Strange.....
Thanks for your help anyway, Hagar.
