[Solved (workaround)] Good book recommendation?

Hello Everyone,

I've had it trying to get a form to work with my table! It's either RO or the autoincrement doesn't work. Can anyone recommend a good book for getting started with this? It seems that the tutorials I'm finding on the web don't match up with what I see on the screen!

Edit: Okay, I found the fix. I edited /etc/openoffice/soffice.sh by commenting out the file locking lines. When the file is open it still says read-only at the top but it IS editable at this point.

Well, that's a dangerous workaround perhaps.
