[Issue] Recent documents

Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.

Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? 2.4
What Operating System (version) are you using? Windows XP
What is your question or comment? Is there a way to make only wp documents appear as "Recent Documents" in Writer, and only spreadsheets in Calc? I don't need to see spreadsheets in writer, nor word processing documents in Calc.

I agree that this should at least be an option.

See Issue 8245, which is a very old issue.

There are valid points made in comments on that issue to support the current behaviour.

In my opinion, the way to go is to make the Recent Documents List fully customisable. This is one of my favourite features in Jarte. I can decide which documents stay on the list, and which documents are opened when I start Jarte.
