Linked image can not printed in OOo 3.2.x with SRB 1.2.0 due to known bug, earlier versions not support it.
The issue will be solved in OOo 3.3.

Example

Could you please explain in more details how you made it work?

If you created report with report builder wizard, then remove text field, and add image control and associate with text field which contain image URL.

See attached example, It created on win7, on other systems use form to add any picture before use it.
Only in OOo 3.3RCs works, older versions broken.

I am not able to make this work. When running the form the image shows briefly then is gone. When I edit the form the image is there. Not sure how that can be.

No image shows in report even after print preview or printing.

I have not been able to get an image to show up in a report using ORB 1.2.1

Using ooo-build 3.2.1.4, Ubuntu package 1:3.2.1-7ubuntu1.1

Was not able to get 3.3 working though I see you are using 3.3 with 10.04

I can't upgrade to 11.04 due to Libre Base not functioning

Any help would be great

The site is currently very uncertain. Some users report that frequent access attempts are eventually successful. If not, ask on-list if someone has a copy of the extension you need.

I loaded OOo 3.3.0 and added the ORB extension that another user was kind enough to find a link for me to. Still no images showing up in reports. I'm not sure of the version of ORB so may not be the latest. I am using this on a laptop and I'm not sure if that is the issue. Any thoughts on to how to get these images to appear?

BTW I have had trouble loading extensions with Ubuntu but discovered that I needed to be logged in as root in the GUI then add the extension. This I showed in my post where I was looking for the extension.

Thanks

Jim
