Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? I am using v2.2 of openoffice
What Operating System (version) are you using? Win XP pro
What is your question or comment? can i configure OpenOffice to work with my original outlook account and ip mail provider ie: I use a cable connection --- relais.videotron.ca that requires authentication password and user ID, i have tried to enter the info into writer options; network connection verifies, but outgoing mail server fails; any help would be appreciated.

It works fine for me. You have confirmed you have your username and password set correctly? Port? I know the default port is 25, but some ISP's block that port.
