[Solved] Sheet Tabs

I have lost the sheet tabs on my spreadsheet. The sheets still exist which I access through Edit-Sheet-Select. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to restore my sheet tabs.

Somewhere in Tools>Options>Calc>View

Maybe Format, Sheet, Show

Then a dialog pops up showing the hidden sheets....(crossing fingers)

No, that didn't work either. I did learn that I am able to navigate between sheets using CTRL- Page Up or Page Down. I do appreciate the responses - thank you.

If it's not hidden sheets or the Tools>Options setting, try resetting your user profile.

Hi

Despite what you said above, it should be under Tools-Options-OpenOffice.org Calc (you need to expand this by clicking on "+" and it will give you further options including "View"). Click on this "View" and a menu starting with "Visual aids" will come up - on the bottom right there is a heading Windows and under that should be a tick box for Sheet Tabs. Tick this,then click OK and the tabs should come back.

Thank you very much, Johntait, that worked beautifully. When I first went in "sheet tab" was checked so I unchecked it, enterd the new setting and went back in and restablished it with the "sheet tab" checked and I am back to normal. I really appreciate all the responses I received from everyone. What a great resource. Happy New Year Everyone.

I have no Sheet Tabs and I cannot edit my spreadsheet. I can only scroll through the pages. Any suggestions? I have been using this program for several months and have not had a problem.

I had the same problem.
I followed your steps.
Sheet Tabs was ticked.
I toggled it off, and clicked OK.
Next I toggled it on, and clicked OK.
My sheet tabs reappeared.
