[Solved] Remove border from formula editor

Post by Crysler »

Hi, I'm new to OpenOffice.

I'm trying to write an essay in the Word Processor, and if I want to write for example a^b using the formula editor, a^b appears in a grey border. I can't change the properties of that border and it's driving me insane! Any idea on how to get rid of it ? And also, the text of the formulas appears to be a little smaller than the rest....

Regards,
Radu

I'm not sure that the gray border is really there--it maybe only shows in the editing view. Try File > Page Preview if you want to see exactly how the document will look when it's printed. Or, export a copy as PDF and check that.

You can adjust the base font size when the formula editor is active: Format > Font Size > Base Size.
