How do I print address labels (from a single database)?
I have Report Builder installed and updated.
It needs to omit blank fields in records to look right (e.g. house name if there isn't one).
I use 21 label stock (3x7).
I can do it in Paradox 9 brilliantly|

I have just been looking in the Writer and found how to print labels there. Looks good, but doesn't work!
I can make a document with all the labels on view, but only with the field names, not the actual data. I have (I think) linked the database to the doc, certainly it appears when I select "Data source of current document".
How do I run the doc so the actual addresses appear?

It is always worth trying a SEARCH of the forum. There are 40 posts that include the phrase "printing address labels".
When this issue has been resolved, it would help other users of the forum if you add the word - [Solved] - to the Subject line of your 1st post (edit button top right).

Thanks for that - it sorts out the problem.
Perhaps I should have gone to the Writer forum rather than this one; I was looking for label printing in Base not Writer (comes from the Paradox experience where it is done directly from the database).
However, it is obvioulsy very confusing. This is because choosing "View/Print layout" then "Page Preview" it does not show the data, only the field references, so I assumed this is what is printed. This needs improving, since it isn't a page preview at all! The page preview should show what is to be printed.
