Re: Download dropout
You're right, same for me, the link may be broken. In that case, come back and in the page, hit the select a mirror close to you link, it will bring you here: http://distribution.openoffice.org/mirrors/#mirrors.

Re: Download dropout
I get the same dropout to Server not found when I try to register for Planet Mirror in Australia.?
Re: Download dropout
And when you visit one of the mirrors (=computer which serves the same downloads as the openoffice.org site) then browse to sub-directory stable/2.3.1/
If you can wait just a few days you will be able to download the latest version 2.4

If your machine already has Java installed or if you don't need certain database features:
http://openoffice.mirrors.ilisys.com.au ... _en-US.exe
If your machine can not run Java programs and you want all office features:
http://openoffice.mirrors.ilisys.com.au ... _en-US.exe

Re: Download dropout
I have found the downloads on the mirror site but after downloading a small part of the file it says 'done'. If I open it I'm told that it is incomplete or corrupted?
Re: Download dropout
No I'm not in Australia I'm in New Zealand but the Australia mirror is the closest to me.
Re: Download dropout
Sorry Allan,
I think it might be some issue with your Windows settings or download tool. I pulled the Australian OOo_2.3.1_Win32Intel_install_en-US.exe half around the globe and proved its integrity with the md5sum utility(*). Probably I could install the downloaded package if I where running Windows.
