Converting to Microsoft word format

Post by blpacer »

I am using Windows XP

I am having a problem in sending as word docments ....the line up changes .
Does anyone know how to fix this.
And I have problems opening a word document in OO(the margins seem to change messing up the document)
Say if the Legal Secretary is on it's own line and Hicksville, NY is supposed to be flush under it,
but it is either indented in, or to far to the left when converted to the Word doc.

Legal Secretary
Hicksville, NY 1989-1993
Direct Secretary to Associate Attorney: typing, answering phones.

Please read the Survival Guide for the forum. This give basic guidance on how to look for answers, and how to frame you questions to help us to help you. With this Q it is difficult to begin. More details and example if possible please.
Ubuntu 11.04-x64 + LibreOffice 3 and MS free except the boss's Notebook which runs XP + OOo 3.3.
